Aluminum Header Pipe For Parallel Flow Condenser (PF Condenser)

Aluminum manifold tubes working as a collector for collecting refrigerant fluid from microchannel parallel flow tubes in the condensers of HVAC system.They usually come in round header pipe and D-type round square manifold tube,left and right header baffle plates,and welded-on connection blocks sealed the both end of the pipe.


The header pipe punching machine line consists aluminum pipe holes punching mechanism unit and pipe slotting mechanism unit along with a punch press. The PLC system, servo control and transportation system connect all of them to be a full automated line.

Manifold tube holes punching unit


Holes punched to be inlet & outlet of the condenser or evaporator coil.The header pipe punching unit is equipped with multi-axis servo systems, precise rotate and draw the pipe for holes in different locations of the pipe. Also, up to 4 puncher tools mounted for different diameters available in the same pipe while processing in the same cycle. The unit is driven by hydraulic for stable performance and better consistency.

Aluminum manifold pipe dies are customized as customers’ specifications like pipe diameter,pipe wall thickness, pipe length, slotting holes, slotting length, and width etc. Special designed forming die core mandrel shaft makes sure precision slots without ID changing, cracks, chips and burrs.

The header pipe is stamped by a 4-column structured punch press. Header pipes are loaded by a mechanical pusher, and slide away to unload by pneumatic.

A complete slotting cycle involves loads aluminum pipe onto core mandrel,pipe positioning, inserting core axis, clamping, lubrication, punching, shocking, drawing core axis, raise and automatic release finished header pipe to unload at last.

The gantry-type transportation robot moves the pipe between each working stations in full automatic moves,from storing hopper,holes punching unit,pipe slotting unit and unloading at last.

Baffles and welded-on connection blocks assembly machine is available as well.
